JV and Varsity.

We will be holding interviews
in May. Coaches will be
interviewed for all grade levels

    VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Each team will need many volunteers to step forward in various
roles.  Many roles could be filled by more than one person (job
    sharing!):

  • Weighmaster: Weigh opposing team’s players 30 min. prior
    to each game.
  • Chain Gang: At home games, handle down markers and
    chains on the sidelines.
  • Team Videographer: Video all your team's games; get
    recording to head coach.
  • Team Photographer: Photos of YOUR team.
  • Team Parent: works as a liaison between coaches, board
and team parents. Makes sure that all important information
and dates are given to parents in a timely manner. Helps
    coordinate end-of-year awards/party. Works with
equipment manager to ensure all equipment is turned in
    after last game.

Involved parents are vital to the success of any youth football
team.  Your player’s coach will be very grateful for your help and
support!  If you are interested in volunteering, or would like more
information, please contact our volunteer coordinator, Sandi
    Mason at lyfcoordinator@yahoo.com.

Each family MUST volunteer a minimum of four (4) hours
per season per your player contract.
2011 7th & 8th Grade Evaluations
This year we will adhering to the "standard practices" by which most TVYFL associations follow.
Players entering 7th or 8th grade will be evaluated during camp and/or the first week of practice.
This helps
with safety issues for players to play at their appropriate skill and size level. We will determine
which player(s) will be the best fit for either Junior Varsity or Varsity.
Each player will play ... Regardless of the team.
